Abstract :
The present study aims to design and validate a localizedmodel for evaluating schools based on the effective components of superior schools. The exploratory research method (qualitative-quantitative) has been used.In the qualitative part, the Delphi technique approach and in the quantitative part, descriptive-survey were used. The participants of the study in the qualitative part were faculty members, senior experts and education staffin Tehran Province. The interview was conducted based on the theoretical saturation with 14 individuals. The quantitative phase was donewith managers of non-governmental schools (superior schools) in Tehran, totaling to 540 individuals, of whom 190 were selected as the statistical sample. The data collection tool in the qualitative part included semi-structured interviews and in the quantitative part, a researcher-made questionnaire was utilized. The questionnaire consists of six main components, 21 sub-components, and 89 items, which were arranged based on a five-point Likert scale. The data analysis in the quantitative part was done using confirmatory factor analysis with AMOS software. The results indicate that in the localized model of evaluating superior schools, the components of planning, evaluation, education, management, facilities, and the socio-cultural domain were confirmed, and the degree of its validation was examined using the Gof-R2 method, confirming the presented model. It is suggested to the education system officials to use the obtained variables in localizededucational evaluation.
