Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to compare the opinions of Farabi and Khwaja Nasiruddin Tousi with emphasis on social and emotional education in education. It was a qualitative research that used conventional content analysis method. Content analysis is a descriptive, analytical and perceptual description of the data obtained from the interviews. It is a suitable method for qualitative data analysis. The target community included the written works of Farabi, Khwaja Nasir Tusi. The sampling method was purposive sampling. The sampling method was purposive sampling and the sample volume included one work of two thinkers. Social and emotional education is extracted using the collected research literature. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. In this research, the accuracy of the qualitative data of the current research was ensured based on transferability and verifiability criteria. In order to verify the codes, the extracted subclasses and classes were provided to university experts to check the correctness of the process. The data were analyzed by conventional content analysis method. In this method, the codes and classes were directly and inductively extracted from the raw data. Data analysis was done with the approach of contractual content analysis and final processing with a systematic method. The findings showed that the principles of social education from Khwaja Nasir's point of view were: universality of education, individuality, socialization, communication, citizenship rights. The principles of social education in Farabi's opinions are: educability, perfectionism, community-oriented education, individual differences and universality of education. ..
