Abstract :
The present study was conducted to provide an innovative model in secondary education based on the use of cloud computing technology. The research method is a combination of qualitative and quantitative sequential exploratory type. The statistical sample in the qualitative section consists of 11 specialists in the fields of information technology and educational management who were selected using a purposive sampling method. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview and the data were analyzed using the Smith coding method. In the quantitative stage, the statistical population included 3,500 principals, teachers and experts in Guilan province from whom 350 individuals were randomly selected using Morgan’s table. Data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire in the quantitative part. Its face and content validity were confirmed and Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was estimated to be 0.89. The results of research in the qualitative part emerged in six dimensions (causal, intermediate, contextual, pivotal, strategic and consequential) including 13 components: the need for change in teaching methods, the usefulness of cloud tools, 21st century requirements, the need for new technologies, human resources organizational support, preparation of learning environment, is an innovative approach to public education, educational policy, providing training requirements, training promotion, educational justice and financial resource management. Quantitative analysis also indicated that all research variables have higher averages than expected. Based on several indicators such as Fornell-Locker index, general fit criterion index (GOF), coefficient of determination and cross-validity or cross-validity index (CV Red), the model has been evaluated and fitted, all based on validity, reliability, strong fit, strong diagnostic validity as well as good quality of the model.
