Abstract :
With the expansion of information technology, the social harms of cyberspace users also increase. In this research, the sociological investigation of the influencing factors of the social harms of virtual space among male adolescents in Tehran was done, which is practical in terms of its nature and purpose, and descriptive-analytical in terms of its method. The sample size is 383 using Cochran's formula and with a significance level of 5%. The data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire using the cluster and random sampling method, and in the quantitative part of the research, in order to validate the obtained model, structural equation tests were used with SmartPLS and SPSS software. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between the group of relatives, online addiction, anonymity, failures, lack of family attachment, national media and social harm. Also, the findings indicate that all the calculated variables, taking into account that the absolute value of the t statistic for all the relationships between the variables was greater than the critical value of 1.96 and all factor loadings in the standard mode were greater than 0.3. Thus, all variables and relationships were confirmed.
