Abstract :
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the fit of the rehabilitation monitoring model of injured professional athletes.
Methods: In the qualitative part, in-depth semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The participation of the qualitative section included all specialists and members of the faculty in the field of rehabilitation of injured professional athletes, whom were selected by purposeful and snowball sampling. For the analysis of the interviews, the method of coding and categorizing the data based on the grounded theory was used, using the prospective or Glazerian approach. The quantitative part sample was 242 people including 52 women (21%) and 190 men (79%). The questionnaire of the quantitative part was prepared using the specified components in the qualitative part.
Results: The estimated values show that the factor loadings related to the indicators of organizational, behavioral and environmental factors are in a favorable condition. These components are estimated along with their related coefficients and the factorial values are suitable values considering the non-rejection of validity.
Conclusions: A comprehensive approach that considers physical, psychological, social, and contextual factors is recommended to optimize rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. The results showed that environmental, organizational and behavioral dimensions have the most relationship with the model, respectively
