The Process of Accepting Articles
The refereeing process of this journal is a positive process whose main goal is to improve the quality of the articles published in the journal. For this purpose, articles that do not contribute to the quality improvement of this journal are sometimes removed, and sometimes the authors are given the necessary advice to improve the quality of the article.
The final decision regarding the publication of the article is made by the members of the editorial board based on the opinions of respected referees and the review of the article, and the chief editor has a central role in this decision.
Review Steps
First Stage: In the initial review and scientific evaluation of the article by the chief editor, the following items are important in the success of the article to enter the refereeing stage:
- The style manual of the journal should be well followed (according to the author guidelines page and the detailed file of article editing).
- There should be sufficient and detailed content for the reader to fully understand the author's analyses in the article.
- The article should provide knowledge enhancement in the field.
- The innovation of the article compared to similar works should be well mentioned in the title, innovation file, introduction, results and suggestions.
- The background should be used in different parts of the article in a logical and orderly manner and according to the case rather than being reported merely in the form of discrete paragraphs.
- Sources should be up-to-date.
- The results should be based on data, analysis and logic of the article.
- There should be enough information about data, analyses and samples in the article.
- The operational definitions of the variables should be provided clearly.
If the above conditions are met, the chief editor will send your article to the referee after paying the initial fee of the article, and in the following cases, your article can successfully pass the refereeing stage.
If the conditions of the first stage are met, the article will be evaluated in the second stage by the chief editor and the scientific committee in terms of the quality of the content and the relevance of the topic. This stage usually lasts a week.
Second Stage: If the conditions of the first stage are met, the article will be sent to two referees in the second stage. The refereeing process of articles is as follows:
- If both referees reject the article, the article will be rejected.
- If the opinion of one referee is a general revision and the opinion of the other is rejection of the article, the article will be rejected.
- If the opinion of both referees is a general revision of the article, the article will be given to the author for revision.
- If the opinion of one referee is a partial revision and the opinion of the other is rejection of the article, the article will be sent to the third referee, and a decision, according to the opinion of the third referee, will be made based on items 1 and 2.
After the author revises the article based on the opinion of the referees and marks the points and suggestions of the refereeing group inside the article in yellow color, the revised article will be sent to one of the referees for comparative evaluation. Then the chief editor, along with other members of the editorial board, will review the article based on the specialized report of the referees and their explanations and the edits made by the author, and based on this, a decision will be made in such a way that if the revisions are approved, the article will be accepted and put into the printing process.
Placement of accepted articles in the list of articles ready for publication
Article Publication
Before publishing, all articles are sent to the corresponding author after page layout and editing so that things are controlled and changed, if necessary, then the author's approval is obtained for publication.
Important Point
All correspondence is done with the corresponding author, and only steps are briefly communicated to other authors. Following up all matters related to the stages and results of refereeing, the time of editing, acceptance and printing of the article is done only by the corresponding author of the article.
An e-mail will be sent to the referees every week to remind them, and if the article is not refereed after one month, the article will be withdrawn from the referee and given to a new referee. Considering the number of revisions requested and the opinions of the referees and the speed and accuracy of the revisions by the authors, it will take about 3 months for an article to get accepted in this journal (if the referees approve it). It is worth mentioning that all correspondence between the journal and the authors will be through the corresponding author, and in this sense, all the responsibilities of the article will be directed to the corresponding author. In addition, it is necessary for the corresponding author to complete the contents of the journal's ethical commitment form and send it through the journal system after signing.
