Identifying employee prosocial voice dimensions and components in interaction with employees of Mashhad’s municipality

Abstract :
Abstract Aim:The purpose of this study was to explain pro-social voice concept of the employees. Pro-social voice, Expression of ideas, information and comments related to work have been defined as participative motivations that this behavior focuses on the benefit of others. Method: This study was conducted qualitatively and based on phenomenological strategy. Semi-structure and in-depth interviews were used to collect the data and Glaser comprehensive approach was used to analyze them. The study population was consisted of all municipality employees of Mashhad who had officially encountered with more than 20 times pro-social voice behavior and had at least 3 years work experience in the municipality of Mashhad which were interviewed according to purposeful sampling and adequacy. Finding: The findings from the analysis of the interviews four dimensions consist of promoters, the free, preventive and ethical issues emerged. Conclusion:The findings of this research provide valuable insight into pro-social voice behavior of employees that can lead to large achievements for organizations and apply in the context of positive organizational participation.
