Abstract :
The learning approach at any time and any place that is used to promote e-learning and as a model of e-learning refers to the acquisition of knowledge, attitude and skills using mobile technologies. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of mobile learning based education on students' self-efficacy, self-control, self-regulation, and academic performance. This research was a quasi-experimental study with pretest and posttest design and experimental and control groups. The statistical population consisted of all 855 female secondary school students in District 1 of Sari city. 47 students were selected by multistage cluster sampling method. Experimental learning-based learning was administered to the experimental group. Pre-test and post-test questionnaires were self-efficacy questionnaires of Scherrer and Maddox (1982), Tajani et al. (2004), Pintrich & DeGrott (1990) and Fam & Taylor (1999). Data were analyzed using ANCOVA test. The findings showed that mobile learning-based education had an effect on students' self-efficacy, self-control, self-regulation, and academic performance.
