Abstract :
Objective: The conceptual structure of vocabulary reveals how words collectively create meaning and which concepts hold the greatest significance. Therefore, the aim of this study is to understand the trends in creativity and innovation within (ISC) database between 1998 and 2023 and to identify key subfields and critical dimensions of the concepts of creativity and innovation.
Method: This research employs bibliometric techniques and co-word analysis. A total of 3,826 documents were extracted from the ISC database to trace the trajectory of research related to creativity and innovation. Cluster analysis and strategic diagrams were used to map the conceptual structure of the studies, identify subfields, and explore relationships between them.
Finding: Findings revealed eight clusters: (1) Innovation Management and Knowledge-Based Ecosystems, (2) Educational Creativity and Individual Development, (3) Systematic Innovation and Advanced Technologies, (4) Organizational Culture and Innovative Leadership, (5) Organizational Learning and Development Strategies, (6) Innovation and Higher Education, (7) Community-Based Innovation and Creativity Culture, and (8) Intellectual Capital and Sustainable Development.
Conclusion: Through content analysis of articles, emerging topics in the field of creativity and innovation were identified. The analysis demonstrated that this field exhibits high levels of diversity and conceptual complexity. The findings of this research can illuminate pathways for future studies and contribute to a comprehensive understanding of current research domains. Additionally, it provides guidelines for researchers to initiate new studies in the emerging areas highlighted by this work.
