        1 - The effectiveness of self-compassion training on alexithymia and self-care behaviors in patients with multiple sclerosis

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of self-compassion training on alexithymia and self-care behaviors in patients with Patients with multiple sclerosis. The statistical population of this study included all patients with MS referred to Mashhad Patients with multiple sclerosis. Association in 1398. From the statistical population using purposive sampling method and based on the score of the relevant questionnaires in the pre-test, 30 people were selected as the sample. These 30 people were randomly selected in 2 groups of 15 experimental and control groups, the experimental group received self-compassion training and the control group is on the waiting list. Also, analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data and SPSS24 software was used to accelerate the results. The results showed that self-compassion training significantly reduced alexithymia and increased self-care behaviors in patients with MS. In other words, alexithymia in patients with MS in the experimental group were significantly lower and self-care behaviors were higher than the control group. As a result, it can be said that self-compassion training is a good approach to reduce alexithymia increase self-care behaviors in patients with MS. Manuscript profile
