Positioning Apt Zones and Developing Ecotourism in Rural Areas Using EIA Strategy A Case Study of Talesh Central Division

Abstract :
The current study has been done by the purpose of identifying and positioning suitable ecotourism development in rural areas of Talesh central division. The research methodology used in this descriptive-analysis study has been a library one using GIS. For this purpose, each one of the presented parameters in the model such as the form of field and geology has been surveyed. The layers of the mentioned parameters were classified based on the suggested model of ecotourism, and finally a zoning map of apt developing ecotourism was provided. Furthermore each of the villages was studied by considering the rate of social-economical indexes. The results showed that mountainous Talesh villages environmentally have one or two disaster potential categories in wide ecotourism. In terms of social-economical substructures, coastal villages of Jow Kandan and Tula Rudhave were shown to have more capacity in presenting services and supporting tourism.
