Abstract :

 

This study investigates the environmental impacts of sustainable tourism on spatial justice in Binaloud County (Torqabeh and Shandiz). It explores how the unequal distribution of tourism services and attractions affects environmental balance and spatial equity. The research is applied in purpose and descriptive–analytical in design. The study population included 54 villages, from which 19 were randomly selected. The sample size, calculated via G*Power, was 160 and increased to 200 to enhance accuracy. Data were collected using documentary and survey methods and analyzed through regression, SEM, and the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test using SPLS3, SPSS, Excel, and ArcGIS software. Reliability was confirmed via Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability (>0.7), and validity was ensured using the Fornell–Larcker criterion. Results from structural equation modeling revealed a significant relationship between environmental factors of sustainable tourism and spatial justice (path coefficient = 0.707, t > 7, p < .001). The findings highlight the importance of equitable tourism policies, environmental education, local participation, and fair resource distribution in promoting spatial justice.
