Analyzing of the Effects of Weakness of Purpose in the Decentralization Policy of Tehran Metropolis

Abstract :

One of the important issues in the political management of the national space of any country is the geographical of the population according to the settlement system that governs that country’ as well as the concentration and distribution of the population in it. The city is part of country and an island within it. Today ‘city dweller has become the dominant model of living in the world and currently’ 60% of the world’s population lives in cities and the 40% lives in the rural.The formation of cities in Iran has been in such a way that suitable climatic and natural conditions and being in the path of traffic roads have been an effective factor in the process of the formation and establishment of cities. Fertile agricultural soil, ease of access to water and water supply are among the first effective factors in settling settlements. It has been in Iran .The formation of cities in Iran has been such that suitable climatic and natural conditions and being in the path of traffic roads have been an effective factor in the process of the formation and establishment of cities. The residence was in Iran. This research is determined to investigate the role of Place in the phenomenon of urbanization, especially in Tehran metropolis.  According to the statistics and charts of Iran statistics center ‘ more than three fourths of the population live in cities ‘ which is equal to 74% of the urban dwellers and 26% of the rural dwellers. The research method is a documentary, statistical and library method, and its statistical analysis was done using the Lorenz curve drawing measurement tool .The findings of the research indicate the occurrence of disorder and demographic and residential imbalance in the metropolis of Tehran due to centralism, which shows the absence or reduction of planning.
