The Impact of Intellectual Capital on Firm’s Financial Performance Mohsen Dastgir Mahdi Arab Salehi Raziye Amin Jafari Hasanali Akhlaghi (Received: 22/Dec/2013; Accepted: 22/Feb/2014) Abstract Today in global economy, knowledge as a most important capital has been replacedby physical and financial capitals, and business environment based on knowledge, requires an approach that encompasses new organizational intangibles such¬ as human innovations, customer relations, organizational structure, etc. In the knowledge based economy the role ofintellectual capital in creating value for organization, is muchmore than the role of physical capital. Therefore, organizations for gaining sustainable competitive advantage requires recognition and systematically management of intellectual capital. Due to importance of intellectual capital in strategic business process of firms, this study investigate relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance of listed firms in tehran stock exchange. The period of study is the years between 1384 till 1389, and the ed sample consist of 68 firms. In order to examining the hypotheses, data were collected and the value of firm᾽s intellectual capital based pulic model and financial performance with the use of three indicators tobins q, price on earning per share and growth revenues ratios is measured. Then with using method combined¬ data, performed the data analysis process and fisher's statistic and haderi tests and, watsons camera been used. At the end the regression analysis is performed. The results of testing research hypotheses, indicates a significant relationship betweenintellectual capital and two indicators financial performance (price on earning per share and growth revenues).
