Abstract : The present study aims to investigate literacy stability rate among the trainees admitted to the transition course. The methodology is quasi-experimental with pre-tests and post-tests for one group. Total 165 trainees were selected out of the total trainees who had been admitted to the course, and their pass marks were considered pre-tests. Later, post-tests were administered to the selected trainees. Data collection instruments were achievement tests on mathematics, essay writing, sentence writing and spelling. The contents of all the tests were based on previously administered standard tests, with their content reliability measured by educational experts. The findings show that there is a significant difference between the results of the pre-tests and post-tests, which, in turn, indicates that the trainees had already forgotten approximately 15% of the learned content. The findings also show that there is a significant difference between the results of the pre-tests and post-tests on mathematics, which, in turn, indicates that the trainees had already forgotten approximately 38% of the learned content. Furthermore, the findings show that there is a significant difference between the results of pre-tests and post-tests on spelling, which, in turn, indicates that the trainees had already forgotten approximately 8% of the learned content. However, the difference between the results of the pre-tests and post-tests on essay writing and sentence writing were not significant. The findings of the present study point to the necessity of implementing appropriate planning and adopting useful strategies to address trainees’ needs after they complete the course. The aim of present study was to identify and study the factors affecting the students' low attention to high school textbooks in Ghoshchi city. The present study was qualitative phenomenological research and conducted in terms of applied purposes. The statistical population consisted of 154 teachers and 620 students. Of these, the target population was selected through purposeful sampling. 15 teachers and 17 students were selected respectively. Semi-structured interviews and open-ended questionnaires were used to collect data. Data analysis was done by cluster analysis method. Data was analyzed using continuous comparative method. According to the findings of the research, the most important factors in students' low attention of high school textbooks based on viewpoint of teachers and students themselves can be divided into two general categories of personal or personal factors and school or environmental factors. From the perspective of students, the most important personal factors were lack of motivation due to observing unsuccessful people, unreasonable ambiguity in the future of employment and resorting to external documents and school factors were lack of facilities, teacher misconduct, curriculum content weakness, and long duration Educational hours. But in a more or less identical look, teachers find the most important personal factors as: lack of motivation for progress, identity confusion, false self esteem, mental concentration problems, mobile addiction, family problems and drowsiness, and school factors including long hours of instruction, poor physical standards of classes, poor content of the textbooks and poor ability in note-taking. The aim of this research was predicting competitive anxiety based on parenting styles and comparing it in gender groups of athletic students. This study in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation method was descriptive. The research population was physical education College students of Tehran province in the year 2019, which 225 people were selected by available sampling method as a sample. Data were collected with questionnaires of Martines competitive state anxiety (1990) and Buri perceived parenting styles (1991) and analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficients, multivariate regression and one-way variance analysis in SPSS-22 software. The findings showed that male and female athletic students did significant difference in perceived competitive anxiety, but didn’t significantly differentiate in parenting styles. Also, authoritative and permissive styles had a significant negative relationship with cognitive anxiety and authoritarian style had a significant positive relationship with cognitive anxiety. Authoritative style had a significant negative relationship with physical anxiety and authoritarian style had a significant positive relationship with physical anxiety, but the permissive style didn’t have a significant relationship with it. Authoritative and permissive styles had a significant positive relationship with self-confidence and authoritarian style had a significant negative relationship with self-confidence. In addition, parenting styles significantly predict cognitive anxiety and self-confidence of athletic students, but they weren’t able to predict their physical anxiety. Based on the results, to reduce competitive anxiety parents can be advised to use authoritative and permissive parenting styles, respectively, and not to use authoritarian parenting styles. The aim of this correlational descriptive-analytical study is to predict students' academic achievement based on emotional intelligence, personality traits, attitudes toward education and career prospects through academic resilience mediation. The Zanjan University’s students in the academic year 2016-2017 have been selected as the statistical population. The research sample consisted of 489 people (277 females and 212 males) who are selected by cluster random sampling method. To summarize the data, a short form of the NEO-FFI Questionnaire, the Academic Resilience Scale (ARI), the Shatte Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, a researcher-made questionnaire on attitudes toward education and career prospects are used. The proposed model was evaluated by structural equation modeling using AMOS-7 software. The results showed that the population-cognitive variables negatively predict academic achievement. Among the personality factors (openness and conscientiousness), emotional intelligence and interest in education and career prospects positively predict academic achievement. Emotional intelligence also predicts academic achievement through resilience. Educational resilience does not mediate the relationship between attitudes toward education and career prospects, gender, age, and academic achievement, and academic resilience mediates only the relationship between personality performance and academic achievement. Therefore, in order to improve the performance of students, it is recommended to teach and promote the level of resilience and emotional intelligence, conscientious personality traits and openness through workshops.
