The purpose of this thesis is to find the rate of learning in Shirvan schools on the basis of behavoral criteria of the learning organization (senge`s view). The statistical subjects in this piece of research includes all state primary, guidance and secondary schools of Shirvan and the sampling is in accordance with stratified method which is in harmony with the content. To gather data , closed-test questionnaires for teachers and an open- test questionnaire for principals have been utilized to assess the conditions and facilities in schools. To establish the validity and reliability of the questionnaires, Alpha-Granbach Test-Retest and opinions of the professors and scholars in the field of educational management have been taken into account. The obtained results show that there is a gap between the present conditions in schools and the qualities of the learning organization. The measurement of the component of these organizations also confirmed this fact. The comparison of the various educational levels shows that there is a meaningful difference between different levels of education in terms of features of the learning organization. It also demonstrates that primary schools comparing with other levels are closer to the charactristics of the learning organization. In addition, other findings show that the educational degree, the kind of school and the teaching experiences have no impact on the rate of learning in schools. It must be mentioned that in this study, we have benefited the descriptive statistics such as frequency distribution, median, relative frequency percentile and, etc. We have also used prescriptive statistics including variance analysis and binomial test.
