Abstract :
The aim of this study was to design and validate a model for utilizing modern educational technologies to enhance elementary students’ learning. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and employed a mixed-methods design (qualitative and quantitative) with an exploratory approach. Data collection tools included semi-structured interviews in the qualitative phase and a questionnaire in the quantitative phase. The statistical population in the qualitative section consisted of faculty members from various universities specializing in curriculum planning and educational technology, as well as experts in elementary education within the Ministry of Education. In the quantitative section, the population included all elementary school teachers in Tehran Province during the 2023–2024 academic year. In the qualitative phase, purposive sampling was applied and continued until data saturation was reached, resulting in 20 participants. In the quantitative phase, a cluster random sampling method was employed, with a total of 347 participants. For data analysis, thematic analysis was conducted in the qualitative phase, while exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling were applied in the quantitative phase. The categories, main and sub-factors, and indicators identified demonstrated that the model of utilizing modern educational technologies to enhance elementary students’ learning comprises four dimensions: (1) human, (2) managerial, (3) curricular, and (4) technical and equipment, along with eight subcategories. Conclusion: Based on the results, this model can contribute to improving learning and enhancing the academic performance of elementary students
