Learning is a subjective matter and creativity is also allowed to emerge in the child's mind and thinking; so, the development of the child's mental field during the second language learning period causes flashes of creativity in his mind, which makes the child's mentality more active. The purpose of this research is to explain the place of learning a second language in the development of a child's intellectual and mental creativity. This research was done by analytical-descriptive method and based on library sources. According to the obtained results, it can be said that learning a second language leads to the development of mental flexibility and autonomy of the child and has an undeniable effect on the cognitive processes of the child, but this learning must be based on appropriate educational materials to lead to the development of mental and intellectual creativity of the child. Otherwise, the method that is not based on new educational tools will not be highly effective and will make the child face mental frustration.
