All manuscripts submitted to the “Biotechnological Journal of Environmental Microorganisms” go through a review process by the Editor in Chief and members of the Editorial Board for primary assessment. If the manuscript meets the overall requirements in the journal. Then the submitted manuscripts are forwarded to at least two qualified reviewers (A double-blind review process). Decisions will be made as soon as possible, and the journal attempts to return reviewers’ comments to authors within 6-8 weeks after manuscript reception. The revised manuscript by all authors is returned to the reviewers for confirming corrections. If not, the paper may be treated as a new submission. Under unusual circumstances, editors may extend the revision deadline beyond 14 days. The Editorial Board and chief editor will re-review corrected (revised) manuscripts that are accepted pending revision. The Chief-Editor will notify the author(s) of the final decision of acceptance or rejection. It is the objective of the Biotechnological Journal of Environmental Microorganisms to accept or reject manuscripts within 12-14 weeks after submission including:
-6-8 weeks for manuscript reception, pre-evaluation of submitted manuscript by Chief-Editor and reviewing process by reviewers
-4 weeks for possible revisions by the author(s)
-2 weeks for checking of revised manuscript and final decision (acceptance or rejection) by Editorial Board and Chief Editor
-2-4 months for preparation of galley proof by journal office, galley proof checking by the corresponding author, and upload of paper as online journal website.
