Biotechnological Journal of Environmental Microorganisms (BJEM) publishes descriptions of all aspects regarding biotechnological applications of microorganisms in different environments such as air, soil, and water. We try to provide the most rapid system for reviewing, publishing, and disseminating the articles freely for teaching and reference purposes. Research must address microbiological principles, fundamental microbial processes, or basic questions in applied or environmental microbiology with biotechnological aspects. Biotechnological Journal of Environmental Microorganisms covers subjects dealing with the following items:

    -Marine Microbial Biotechnology

    -Soil Microbial Biotechnology

-Biotechnological aspects about microorganisms in extreme environments

    -Microbial Weathering

    -Surfaces Microbiology

    -Petroleum Microbiology

    -Microbial mineralization of organic materials

-Microbial biofilm formation and functions in different environments

-Microbial metagenomics and bioinformatics studies in different environments
