Abstract :
AbstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of modular cognitive behavior therapy (MCBT) on tolerance of uncertainty, loneliness and risky behavior in martyr students. The statistical population of the study consisted of all female high school students who attended high school in Shahid Khorasan Razavi in Torbat Heydarieh during the academic year of 1397-98. The statistical population was selected based on available sampling method and based on the score of three questionnaires of uncertainty tolerance (Fristen et al., 1994), the questionnaire Loneliness (Russell & Ferguson, 1995) and High Risk Behavior Questionnaire (Shafie, 1391). In the pre-test, 30 people who had entry and exit criteria were selected as samples. The 30 subjects were randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups of 15. The experimental group received 10 sessions of 90 minutes of modular cognitive behavior therapy and the control group was on the waiting list. Also, for analysis of data, one and multi-variance analysis of covariance analysis was used and to accelerate the results of SPSS-22 software. The results of this study showed that modular cognitive behavior therapy (MCBT) of the process unit significantly increased uncertainty tolerance and decreased loneliness in martyr students, but did not significantly affect the high risk behaviors in students.
