Abstract :
The aim of the present study was to investigate the Recognition of relationship between occupational stress and satisfication among members of faculty in private and governmental university. The descriptive method was correlational. The population of the study were members of faculty in private and governmental university. Thriugh random sampling technique and Kergsy & Morgan sample size table (1970) 379 faculties were selected. The data collection instrument comprised job satisfaction questionnaire and occupational stress searcher developed questionnaire. The findings of the present study showed that there is a negative correlation between occupational stress and job satisfaction (r=-0.69). The occupational stress of private members of faculty is higer than governmental members of faculty. The job satisfaction of private members of faculty is lower than governmental members of faculty. These findings can trigger other similar studies on diagnosis and interventions amid.
