Abstract :
Pedagogical play is one of the practical methods of play in the field of education and its most important goal is to help the growth and development of actors, especially children and adolescents, to convince the aesthetics and artistic taste of the audience. Since the themes of such plays have a direct impact on the education of children and Iran is one of the countries that is very rich in educational literature, inspiration from these texts can be helpful in this regard. Therefore, in the present study, which was conducted by descriptive-analytical method of content, the Haft Peykar, which is a combination of educational and romantic themes, has been examined. At first, educational allegories were discovered, and after interpreting and examining them, how to use allegories in the construction of pedagogical plays for children and adolescents. The findings indicate that although the Haft Peykar is a lyrical work and has scenes and events that may not be useful to children and adolescents, due to the high frequency of educational concepts included in its allegorical stories as well as high narrative aspects, Some stories can be recreated, revised, combined, and others can be rewritten and adapted to create a pedagogical representation.
