Abstract :
The words of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) cast a shadow on the poems and writings of many poets and writers, and it can be claimed that it is evident in their works directly or intertextually. In this article, the complete collection of gazals by Bidel Dehlavi, one of the famous poets of the Safavid period, who was one of the mystics of his time and had a special devotion to Imam Ali (peace be upon him), was studied and examined to determine to what extent his poems correspond to the Imam's words. The result of this study, based on the desired topics, which included knowledge of God, human attributes, faithfulness, modesty, negligence, contentment, sustenance, poverty and poors, greed, pride, jealousy, and silence showed that some verses of this poet can be intertextually affected by words of Ali (peace be upon him). For the sake of brevity, only the verses that are influenced by the words of the Imam (peace be upon her), have been presented.
