To study methodologically the factors affecting on impression management in the main department of culture and Islamic guidance in Esfehan province

Abstract :
The goal of the study was to describe and identify the staff’s experiences working at the main department of culture and Islamic guidance in Esfehan province. In terms of goal, the research was an applied research and it was a qualitative research in terms of data collection method using phenomenological method. The needed data were collected via in – depth interviews with 24 participants who had been selected using purposeful samplings. The triple approach developed by Rao and Prey (2003) was used to examine the reliability of the results. Validity approaches developed by Lincoln and Guba (2007) (external validity, descriptive validity and interpretive validity) were used to test the validity of the results. The results obtained indicated that the factors of impression management consist of individual factors related to employees, individual factors related to managers, organizational factors, social – cultural factors, political factors and moderating factors, methods and tactics were classified into two groups of negative and positive methods and tactics and organizational consequences. The findings of the research indicated people have experienced this phenomenon in different ways. Hence, to pay attention to this topic could be effective on organizational health and staff’s physical and mental moods. So it requires special attention.
