Abstract :
This study investigated the effect of utilizing educational jurisprudential podcasts on the religious attitudes and adherence of high school students. A quasi-experimental design with pre-test, post-test, and a control group was employed. The statistical population comprised all tenth-grade students in Sari during the 2023-2024 academic year. From this population, 40 students were selected via simple random sampling and randomly assigned to an experimental group and a control group (20 students per group). Data collection instruments included the standardized Golriz and Baraheni Religious Attitude Questionnaire (2004) and the Jangbozorg Religious Adherence Questionnaire (2009), administered during both pre-test and post-test phases. The experimental group received six sessions of instruction using educational jurisprudential podcasts featuring engaging, practical content based on contemporary adolescent issues, while the control group received traditional classroom instruction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics, including univariate and multivariate analysis of covariance. Results indicated that the use of educational jurisprudential podcasts led to a significant increase in positive religious attitudes and adherence among students in the experimental group compared to the control group.
