Validation of distributed leadership model based on organizational excellence in elementary school principals

Abstract :
Abstract Background: The complexity and size of school systems is such that a leader cannot perform the tasks of schools alone, therefore the distributed leadership style as a new perspective in leadership is an effective method for improving and excelling schools. purpose: The purpose of the current research was to validate the distributed leadership model based on organizational excellence in elementary school principals. Method: The method of the present research was applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive in terms of the survey type. The statistical population of the research included principals of elementary schools of education and training in Shahryar, Mallard, and Shahreghods cities, respectively, in the number of 338, 149, and 100 people, and the statistical sample was based on the Cochran formula of 232 people, who were randomly selected from the three mentioned cities. Became. The data collection tool consisted of a researcher-made questionnaire with 6 components and 68 questions, the reliability of the questionnaire using Cronbach's alpha for the components was 0.75, causal 0.81, intervention 0.78, and substrates 0.74. , strategies were 0.72 and axial 0.71. Also, hypothesis analysis was done using structural equation method and Amos software. Findings: The results showed that the causal category, intervening conditions, and contexts had a positive and significant effect on the central category, and the effect of contexts and intervening conditions was greater. Also, the impact of the central category on the strategies and the impact of the strategies on the results has been positive and significant.
