Investigating the impact of empowerment on organizational improvement of employees of Zagros Petrochemical Company

Abstract :
The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of empowerment on organizational improvement of employees of Zagros Petrochemical Company. This study is applied in terms of its purpose and is descriptive-survey in nature. The statistical population of this study includes all employees of Zagros Petrochemical Company, 868 people, of which 266 people were randomly selected as a statistical sample based on the Cochran formula. The data collection tool includes the empowerment questionnaire from Russell et al. (2003) and the organizational improvement questionnaire from the Welba and Johnson test (2010). To examine the validity of the questionnaire, the face validity (apparent method) and the reliability of the two questionnaires were reported by Cronbach's alpha method as 0.8 for empowerment and 0.92 for organizational improvement. In order to examine the hypotheses, a regression analysis correlation test was used using SPSS software. The research findings showed that there is a positive and significant effect between empowerment methods and organizational improvement in employees of Zagros Petrochemical Company. The status of employee empowerment showed that it was in a favorable state at a significance level of 0.01 and with a probability of 99 percent.
