Abstract :

The aim of the study was to investigate the educational effectiveness of the Bybee teaching model on the empowerment of students in the field of educational management at Islamic Azad University, Marvdasht Branch. The study is a descriptive correlational study in terms of its objective and method. The statistical population included all undergraduate and graduate students in the field of educational management at Marvdasht Azad University in the academic year 2019-2020, with an estimated number of 84 people. Based on the Morgan table, 70 people were selected using simple random sampling. The research tools included the Spreitzer and Mishra Empowerment Questionnaire (1992) and the Bybee Teaching Method Questionnaire (2007). The validity was assessed based on face validity and expert opinion, and reliability was assessed based on Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which was calculated to be 0.82 and 0.84. The findings showed that total empowerment and its subscales (self-efficacy, autonomy, impact, meaningfulness, and trust) are below the standard level. Also, the Baybee presentation model has a significant relationship with overall empowerment and its concept. This indicates the effectiveness of this educational method in promoting student empowerment and, as a result, it uses new teaching models in educational programs.
