Designing and validating the MOOC-based distance learning model (MOOCs) in vocational and Kar-o-Danesh schools of Fars province

Abstract :
Introduction: The main goal of this research was to design and validate the MOOC-based distance learning model in vocational and Kar-o-Danesh of Fars province.
research methodology: This research was of mixed sequential exploratory type. The qualitative part was conducted using thematic analysis and semi-structured interviews. The participants were selected using the purposeful sampling method and theoretical saturation criteria, and based on that, 27 professors and specialists in the field of education were selectedIn order to obtain the reliability and validity of the data, two methods of reviewing the participants and reviewing the experts who did not participate in the research were used and the reliability of the holistic coefficient was obtained as 0.93. The quantitative part of the research was done using descriptive correlation method. The population in the quantitative section was managers, officials and teachers of vocational and Kar-o-Danesh and their staff in Fars province. It was done as a multi-stage cluster sampling and a total of 375 people participated in the quantitative section. The instrument of the quantitative part of the questionnaire was made by the researcher, whose validity and reliability were checked and confirmed by the researcher.
Findings: The conceptual framework of remote education based on MOOC in vocational and Kar-o-Danesh of Fars province including four main dimensions of support of managers with components (awareness of managers, commitment of managers and accountability of managers), support of high-level documents with components (vision, correction High-level documents and policies), foundation with components (expert forces, beliefs, hardware, software, user-friendliness, support, training and motivation), planning with components (targeting, content compilation, evaluation) and Implementation was with components (feasibility, design, application, evaluation). And finally, the quantitative part confirmed the findings of the qualitative part.Conclusion: the conceptual framework of MOOC educational model in high schools includes the main dimensions of high-level document support, managers' support, foundation, planning and implementation.
