Abstract :
This study examined the effectiveness of group training drawing on the multifaceted Lazarus approach on women's marital satisfaction. This study was concerned with all married women members of Basij in Sabzdasht. From among a total of 200 women 30 women were selected using simple random sampling method. They were assigned equally to the control and experimental groups. The research instrument was Enrich’s marital satisfaction 47-item questionnaire which was filled out by the subjects before and after the treatment. Data were analyzed employing covariance analysis. The results of the study revealed that there was a significant difference between the control and experimental group means indicating that the group training was effective in increasing the marital satisfaction and sexual relationship of the subjects in the experimental group
