The Effect of Testosterone and Progesterone Hormone Fluctuations on Sexual Satisfaction with Control of Marital Satisfaction in a Group of Women 30 to 50 Years

Abstract :
The aim of this study was to survey of testosterone and progesterone hormone fluctuations on sexual satisfaction with control of marital satisfaction in a group of women 30 to 50 years in Kazeroon. For this purpose of married women 30 to 50 years of Kazeroon, were selected the numbers of 100 of people who had inclusion criteria with convenience sampling methods, and selected samples were evaluated using index of sexual satisfaction questionnaire and ENRICH marital satisfaction scale. Also, the level of testosterone and progesterone in the blood of women in the follicular phase (between days 12 and 18 cycles) were measured using ELISA and Kits hormone produced by the Monobind Company. The data were evaluated using multiple regression analysis stepwise method and partial correlation. Results showed that: There is significant correlation between sexual satisfaction and marital satisfaction factor controlling the fluctuations of testosterone and progesterone are significant. Fluctuating hormones of progesterone and testosterone are able to predict changes are related to women's sexual satisfaction. So that women's sexual satisfaction, hormone fluctuations can be explained by progesterone is highest, followed by the second phase fluctuations of testosterone in women is predictive of sexual satisfaction. Fluctuating hormones of progesterone and testosterone, along with the marital satisfaction of women are able to predict changes in sexual satisfaction. So we can conclude that fluctuating hormones of progesterone and testosterone in women, affecting the quality of the marital relationship and in discussing the reduction of sexual satisfaction can be considered changes of mentioned hormones.
