Identifying the factors and strategies of the veterans compensation system in sports

Abstract :

The current research was conducted in a combined, qualitative and quantitative manner, with the aim of identifying the effective factors and strategies of the veterans compensation system in sports. The statistical population in the qualitative section includes 20 deputy ministers, general staff directors of the respective ministries, presidents of federations and teachers, presidents and members of the directorate of federations, official members of committees such as members of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, Supreme Council of Sports and presidents, directors and deputies. There were 3560 people in the general sports and youth departments in the quantitative section of research including: coaches, referees and senior sport players through the provinces of Tehran, Razavi Khorasan, North Khorasan and Isfahan, out of which 350 people were selected using mixed sampling. A researcher-made questionnaire derived from the qualitative method were used to collecting the data. The reliability of the research was checked and confirmed using Cronbach's alpha criterion in SPSS 23 software. In order to fit the conceptual model and explain the research strategies, structural equations and Lisrel software were used. The research findings finally identified 4 factors: cultural, financial, managerial and emotional and 41 categories related to the research topic. As a result of solving financial problems, the development of cultural factors and social connections of veterans in sports along with the management of their reuse and their honor and respect can be considered as a part of the compensation strategies for the services of these loved ones.
