Determining the effect of professional identity on job satisfaction with the mediating role of job engagement among employees of the Real Estate Registry

Abstract :
Achieving a professional identity at work can increase the motivation and high participation of employees in the organization and ultimately lead to job satisfaction. However, due to the fact that the effect of this variable among the employees of the Real Estate Registry Organization is not known, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of professional identity on job satisfaction with the mediating role of job conflict among the employees of the Real Estate Registry Organization. The current research is of an applied type and the population investigated in this study included all the employees of Tabriz Property and Deed Registration Organization. The number of employees was equal to 650 people. The size of the statistical sample was determined using the Karjesi and Morgan table of 242 people. In order to collect information, the standard questionnaire of Wang et al. (2020) was used in the form of a five-point Likert scale. In this research, in order to analyze the data, descriptive statistical methods and path-structural modeling were used to test the research hypotheses. The results of the survey showed that professional identity has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and job involvement. Also, job conflict has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction among the employees of the Real Estate Registry Organization. Also, the results show that job involvement is a mediating variable in the relationship between professional identity and job satisfaction.
