Abstract :
According to the current situation of the society to assess the level of hope in different groups of society, we examined the Snyder Hope Questionnaire to assess the level of hope on the group of high school students who had an age range of 15-18 years in the field of hope scientifically and technically. The purpose of this research was studying psychometric(reliability,validity)snyder hopefulness questionnaire (1991).a sample group of 455 (220 boys and 235 girls)selected by cluster random sampling method .After gathering and analyzing data ,the reliabity confficient of cronbach Alpha was equal to ./784.and obtained by retesting ./75. In order to determine inventory validity the principle component was used. Result factor analysis exploration component showed that 2 factors determine 41/67 of the whole variance of variables .The Result extraction2 factor include:1-factor thinking(ability to desiging to target goals)2-strategic thinking(plan to achieve the goal).There is no significant difference between Hopefulness scores of boys and girls . Due to the reliability of the obtained validity, Snyder's hope test is a tool that can be used by students in counseling centers, clinics, schools and other organs.
