Investigating the Relationship between Emotional Intelligence, Creativity and Innovation in Curriculum Design (Case Study: Female Primary School Teachers in Khorramabad, Academic Year 1399-1400)

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and creativity and innovation in designing the curriculum considering the perspective of female primary school teachers in Khorramabad in 2020-2021. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the study included 489 female primary school teachers in Khorramabad. Based on Krejcie Morgan table, the sample size was estimated 214 people. To collect the data of the research, Gelman Emotional intelligence questionnaire, Torrance Creativity (1979), and researcher-made questionnaire on designing primary school curriculum were used. To analyze the data, Pearson test and stepwise regression were used. The research findings showed, there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and creativity and innovation in designing the curriculum considering the perspective of female primary school teachers of Khorramabad. . Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between the dimensions of emotional intelligence,( self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, empathy and flexibility) and curriculum designing. And there is also a positive and meaningful relationship between the four dimensions of creativity (fluidity, flexibility, initiation, developing the idea) and curriculum designing.
