Abstract :

Abstract         By surveying the world of Khagani's poetry, we encounter the political and social ups and downs  which have appeared everywhere in his poetry. He has illustrated the social and political conditions with an exquisite language in his lengthy odes. Political hints, social events and the customs of the courtiers in the mold of eulogy and elegy show the people's political and social conditions of his time. The poets' social predicaments and their intermixture with it is so great that the separation in Khagani's poetry not only is difficult but also impossible. Khagani's poetry is so holistic that one can see the political and social conditions of the time in it and derive documentary facts from it. We are to show the different angles of his poetry to the researchers. By studying his poetry we find out about the incidents of his life, political situation like the wars and Iranians' glorious victory, the current culture in the court, the bilateral relations between the poets and the kings, the governments' approach toward the peasants, poets' praise about the construction development and the rulers' attempt in this regard.
