Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to investigate the role of information management in managing the rising power of netocrats in government organizations. This research was conducted in a combined (qualitative and quantitative) method using Strauss and Corbin's structured data theory method. Semi-structured interviews with 17 organizational and academic managers and experts were used to collect data in the qualitative section. In the quantitative section, 350 researcher-made questionnaires were completed from the results of the qualitative section by employees of the Iran Health Insurance Organization, and the data were described and analyzed with SPSS26 and AMOS26 software, and the structural equation model and confirmatory factor analysis technique were used. To check the reliability, 30 questionnaires were distributed and collected among the people of the community, and the result of Cronbach's alpha test was 0.97. Out of 246 extracted conceptual codes, 53 of them are related to background conditions, and 21 of these codes are dedicated to organizational information management and information technology knowledge management. Organizations can prevent the dependence of these processes on individuals by providing timely vital and quality information from the information management platform and sharing it with all stakeholders through information technology knowledge management and managing the rising power of netocrats.
