Designing a knowledge management model in engineering organizations

Abstract :
Knowledge is the most important resource of any organization. Human resources will not be able to achieve their goals without taking advantage of current knowledge and organizations will face the risk of being destroyed, therefore knowledge management will play a fundamental role in advancing the goals of the organization and their survival. The purpose of this research is to design a knowledge management model in engineering organizations. this research community was formed by managers and experts of construction engineering organizations located in Tehran as well as university professors. In this research, the opinions of 12 experts were used using the objective judgment method. The process of data analysis was carried out in two stages, which includes identifying the dimensions and components of the knowledge management model in engineering system organizations through interview tools and using thematic analysis method and theoretical validation of the research model in terms of comprehensiveness and uniqueness. coherence and integration, appropriateness, need, using questionnaire tools and sample t-tech test. The results of the research showed that the knowledge management model in the engineering system organizations has a step-by-step process and from the five stages of explaining the strategic intent and necessity of knowledge management; communicating and promoting cultural, social and technological capital; Analyzing the current needs of the organization in order to determine the best knowledge management method; Provision and implementation of knowledge management with clearly defined procedures and resources; Evaluation and continuous monitoring of the implementation of new knowledge management and reform has been formed
