Designing an organizational Commitment model in Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization

Abstract :
AbstractBackground and purpose: Organizational commitment is a mental state that determines the desire and need of employees to continue working in an organization. The purpose of this research is to design an organizational requirement model in Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization.Research method: In terms of purpose, this research is developmental-applied and exploratory. The research method is the foundation data.The logic of selecting sample members was based on theoretical and snowball sampling. Interviews were conducted with 15 organizational and academic experts until theoretical saturation. Max QDA software was used for data analysis through coding steps.Findings: The findings of the research were presented in six main collections as the dimensions of the paradigm model of the organizational requirement and in the form of a research model. Causal, contextual, intervening, strategic and consequential factors of organizational requirement in the Port and Maritime organization of the country were identified.Conclusion: If managers focus on the factors that increase organizational commitment and provide conditions for employees, not only will employees' commitment to the organization increase, but it will bring positive consequences for the organization.
