Abstract :
AbstractThe aim of this paper was to investigate the effect of knowledge management on organizational performance with emphasis on the role of organizational commitment and social responsibility among Pasargad Bank employees in Tehran. The research method was descriptive-survey and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population consisted of 3,500 Pasargad Bank employees who were selected as statistical samples using Morgan's table and random sampling of 353 clusters. The data collection tool was a 28-item questionnaire designed to manage nine-item knowledge, six-item organizational performance, five-item organizational commitment, and eight-item social responsibility. Content validity and structural validity were used to determine the validity of the measurement tool. Alpha Cronbach's coefficient was also used to calculate the reliability of the instrument. The results showed that the measurement tool had good validity and reliability. To test the research hypotheses, the data normality test, Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis were used using SPSS and Amos software. The research findings showed that knowledge management has an effect of 834% on organizational performance, knowledge management has an effect of 628% on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has an effect of 759% on social responsibility, and social responsibility has an effect of 523%. And organizational commitment has had an impact of 591% on organizational performance. Another finding of the research is that the knowledge management process has a positive and significant effect on the organizational performance of employees through the mediating role of organizational commitment and social responsibility.Keywords: knowledge management, organizational performance, organizational commitment, social responsibility.
