The Relationship between Teachers' Attitude towards the Use of Electronic Content and Educational Technology with Student Learning

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between teachers' attitude towards using electronic content and educational technology with the learning of students in Lamerd city. The research method has been applied in terms of purpose and nature, and in terms of data collection, a descriptive correlation has been used. The statistical population of the study included all teachers in Lamerd who taught at the schools in the school year of 2016-17. In this study, stratified sampling method was used to select 152 individuals. Data were collected using two researcher-made questionnaires. The face and content validity of questionnaires were confirmed by researchers and experts. Reliability of the questionnaires by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was estimated 0.831 and .0901 for teachers' attitude towards the use of technology and electronic content questionnaire and learning questionnaire respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Friedman test and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the attitude of using electronic content and educational technology with students' learning. Also, the findings showed that the electronic content and up-to-date and effective educational media, the motivation and teachers mastery in the use of educational media will motivate their students to learn.
