The research method was pre-test and post-test and the statistical population of this study was all women with MS with high dysfunctional attitude and low resiliency referred to the department of ambulatory patients in Kahrizak in 2017. The sampling method was purposive. Research tools included Conner and Davidson Resiliency Questionnaire (2003) and Dys, Weisman & Beck Dysfunctional Attitude Questionnaire (1997).Subjects were randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. the experimental group underwent 8 sessions of 90 minutes of psychotherapy. But the control group received no intervention. Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA). The results showed a significant difference (p <0.000) in the experimental group after the implementation of psychotherapy. The results showed the effect of acceptance and commitment therapy on increasing resilience and reducing inefficient attitudes of MS patients.
