ملخص المقالة :
در این مقاله به بررسی متغیرهای هویتی و هنجاری موثر در روابط ایران و اتحادیه اروپا بین سالهای ۲۰۰۲ تا 2020 خواهیم پرداخت. بر این اساس به دنبال پاسخ به این پرسش هستیم که متغیرهای غیرمادی و هویتی چگونه بر روابط ایران و اتحادیه اروپا بین سالهای ۲۰۰۲ تا ۲۰۲۰ اثرگذار بوده است؟ فرضیه اصلی این است که تفاوت ها در نگرش های ایران و اتحادیه اروپا در مقوله های سیاست و فرهنگ و مصادیق مربوط به هنجارها و ارزشها و نزدیکی هویتی اروپا با ایالات متحده امریکا منجر به اثرگذاری بیشتر متغییر های مادی نظیر مسأله هستهای و منافع اقتصادی بر روابط ایران و اتحادیه اروپا بین سالهای ۲۰۰۲ تا ۲۰۲۰ شده است که این موضوع منجر به کاهش در روابط دو بازیگر در زمینه های مختلف سیاسی، اقتصادی، فرهنگی، حتی طرح مباحث حقوق بشری شده و تنها در دوره پس از توافق برجام به دلیل نزدیک شدن طرفین به گفتمان تعامل و عدم اشاعه، بهبودی نسبی در روابط صورت گرفت.
