Abstract The world and the market are constantly changing. An organization can maintain its competitive advantage only if constantly innovating. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of knowledge-based leadership on organizational innovation with the moderating role of organizational capacity and culture. The research method is descriptive correlational. The statistical population of this research includes Agricultural Bank employees in Isfahan. 75 of them were selected by using Cochran formula via random sampling method and responded to a self-report questionnaire. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the views of the supervisor and some experts in the field of management, and the reliability was established by applying Cronbach's alpha. Data were analyzed by SPSS software, through conducting Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, Spearman correlation test and stepwise regression. The results showed that knowledge leadership has no significant relationship with organizational innovation. Although the results of stepwise regression showed that organizational capacity and culture have significant effects on the organizational innovation of Agricultural Bank of Isfahan, the knowledge-based leadership in the Agricultural Bank seems to have not been thoroughly implemented.
