        This research investigates a simple method for Direct Rotor Field-Oriented Control (DRFOC) of star-connected 3-Phase Induction Motor (3Ph IM) drives under Single-Phase Open Fault (SPOF). The proposed control scheme includes a modified RFOC strategy in cooperation with a flux linkage observer. Most studies on this topic are intended for Indirect Rotor Field-Oriented Control (IRFOC), and hence are not appropriate at low speed operation due to using a pure integration for the flux angle calculation. To this end, a rotor flux linkage observer is designed which alleviates the speed and torque ripples of the faulty motor during low speed operation. The observer is capable of estimation of the rotor flux during healthy and SPOF conditions by only some modifications in the 3Ph IM parameters. The proposed DRFOC approach is tested under different conditions and the effectiveness of the proposed system is confirmed by experimental results. The results show the good fault tolerant capability and tracking performance of the proposed controller during different speeds. پرونده مقاله

        A novel method to detect microwave signals power in successive detection logarithmic video amplifier (SDLVA) based on single metal-oxidesemiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) is proposed. This is an alternative for the conventional method of rectifying that logarithmic amplifiers are being used to detect a RF signal power. A complete design and analysis of circuit functioning in saturation region of MOSFET operation is discussed. Simple structure, low power consumption, small chip area, excellent operation in microwave frequencies and low temperature variation makes it suitable for on-chip microwave signal power detecting. Design of detector is performed in standard 0.18μm RF TSMC CMOS process. The design layout and post layout simulation results in K band (18-26.5 GHz) are presented. پرونده مقاله

        Fulfillment the Low-voltage ride-through (LVRT) is required for wind farms (WFs) connected to the power system. This paper proposes simultaneous using both superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) and R-type solid-state fault current limiter (SSFCL) for enhancement the LVRT capability of WFs. The WFs is modeled with a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG). The drive-train system is modeled by two-mass drive system. The analytical and simulation studies of using both SCES and R-type SSFCL for improving the LVRT capability of WFs are presented and compared with the impact of the Using the SMES alone. The simulation results show that simultaneous using both SCES and SSFCL effectively improves the LVRT capability of WFs connected to weak grids.         Bioinformatics is a new science that uses algorithms, computer software and databases in order to solve biological problems, especially in the cellular and molecular areas. Bioinformatics is defined as the application of tools of computation and analysis to the capture and interpretation of biological data. Protein Structure Prediction (PSP) is one of the most complex and important issues in bioinformatics, and extensive researches has been done to solve this problem using evolutionary algorithms. In this paper, we propose a genetic based method in order to solve protein structure prediction problem with increasing the accuracy of prediction, using a crossover operator based on pattern mask. Further, we compare two genetic based method to evaluate the proposed method. The results of the implementation of our proposed algorithm on five standard test sequences show that the use of a pattern mask-based crossover operator in the genetic algorithm can significantly improve the accuracy compared to previous similar algorithms. پرونده مقاله

        The significant information about the properties of matter can be described with the interaction between light and matter. On this subject, the effect of the applied magnetic field and structural variation on the optical and electrical properties of circular GaAs quantum rings at the existence of Rashba spin–orbit interaction (RSOI) have been investigated. Also the effect of Rashba spin-orbit interaction (SOI) on the gate response in a series of non-interacting one-dimensional rings connected to some leads are studied theoretically within the waveguide theory. The presence and absence of Rashba SOI is treated as the two inputs of the AND/NAND/NOT gates.         Defect engineering in nonmaterials could be used to modify the properties of materials for various practical applications. In this paper, the impact of linear arrangement of ISTW (LA-ISTW) defect and its position on the transport properties of grapheme nanoribbon transistors is investigated. The analysis show that creating the LA-ISTW defect with a certain density in the proper position of the channel length leads to increase the bandgap, suppress ambipolar conduction and provides the higher on-off current ratio and therefore the structure with LA-ISTW defect in the proper defect position and the specified defect density has better performance than conventional structure. The results have also demonstrated the defect engineering potential on modifying the electronic transport properties of GNR FETs. Simulations has been done based on self-consistent solution of full 3D Poisson and Schrodinger equations within the non-equilibrium Green’s function formalism. Graphene nanoribbons with non-passivated edges are used in the transistor channel. پرونده مقاله
