        2-(3- indolyl) 4,5 di phynyl imidazole.(IDPI) was used as a complexing agent in cloud point extraction for the first time and applied for selective pre-concentration of trace amounts of cadmium. The method is based on the extraction of cadmium at pH= 7.0 by using non-ionic surfactant Triton-X114 and 2-(3- indolyl) 4,5 di phynyl imidazole. (IDPI) as a chelating agent. The adopted concentrations for IDPI, Triton X-114 and HNO3, bath temperature were optimized, The response are linear over concentration range of 8.0-90 (ng mL-1) for Cd2+ and RSD % (n =5) 1.8 for Cd2+, Detection limits (3SDb/m, n =10, m = slope of calibration) of 2.8 (ng.mL-1) for Cd2+ respectively. The enrichment factors was 33 for Cd2+. the preconcentration factors was 39 for Cd2+ respectively. The high efficiency of cloud point extraction to carry out the determination of analytes in complex matrices was demonstrated.         Abstract A simple, sensitive and feasible cloud-point extraction(CPE) methodology has been developed for the separation and preconcentration of cadmium and lead ions in real samples. The metals in the aqueous solution were complexes with 2-(3- indolyl) - 4,5 di phynyl imidazole.(IDPI), at pH = 7.0 and Triton X-114 was added as surfactant. Thevariables effecting like concentration of Triton X-114 and HNO3, bath temperature, centrifuge rate and time on the cloud-point extraction were optimized. Under optimum conditions, the response are linear over concentration range of 0.077-1.29(µg mL-1)for Zn2+andRSD % (n =5) 1.6 forZn2+, Detection limits (3SDb/m, n = 10, m = slope of calibration) of 0.14(µg.mL-1) Zn2+respectively. The enrichment factors was 33, the preconcentrationfactors was 27 for Zn2+respectively. The high efficiency of cloud point extraction to carry out the determination of analytes in complex matrices was demonstrated.         Imidazole is compound with a wide range of biological activities and imidazole derivatives are the basis of several groups of drugs.In this study the relationship between molecular descriptors and the thermal energy (Eth kJ/mol), and heat capacity (Cv J/mol) of imidazole derivatives is studied. The chemical structures of 85 Imidazole derivatives were optimized at HF/6-311G* level with Gaussian 98 software.Molecular descriptors were calculated for selected compound by using the Dragon software.The Genetic algorithm- multiple linear regression (GA-MLR) and backward methods were used to select the suitable descriptors and also for predicting the thermodynamic properties of imidazole derivatives.The obtained models were evaluated by statistical parameters, such as correlation coefficient (R2adj), Fisher ratio (F), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Durbin-Watson statistic (D) and significance (Sig).The predictive powers of the GA- MLR models are studied using leave-one-out (LOO) cross-validation and external test set. The predictive ability of the GA-MLR models with two-three selected molecular descriptors was found to be satisfactory. The developed QSPR models can be used to predict the property of compounds not yet synthesized. پرونده مقاله

        Because of the significant role in biological processes in living cells and the diverse types of physiological activities, heterocyclic compounds are in focus of intense investigations by academic, industry and applied-oriented chemists. Considerably, ascientific renaissance of heterocycles during the last decades is closely related to the development of multicomponent approaches to their synthesis. Multicomponent methodology is fundamentally different from two-component or sequential processestogether with other innovative synthetic methods like microwave- and ultrasonic assisted reactions offer some new possibilities in constructing heterocyclic systems with high level of molecular diversity and complexity. Among them Imidazoles are quite important reagents in modern heterocyclic chemistry, and their reactions with electrophiles are the most widespread and facile synthetic approach for obtaining diverse heterocyclic systems containing Imidazolemoiety. An interest on these heterocycles is attributed to their known biological activities: analgesics, cardiovascular vasodilators, calcium channel blocking agents, potassium channel inhibitors, apoptosis-inducers, and so on. Poly (AAm/NVI) hydrogels were synthesized by free radical solution polymerization. Swelling experiments were performed in water at 25°C, gravimetrically. Here, it was of interest to increase the water absorption capacity of AAm hydrogels with add VI. AAm is a highly hydrophilic monomer, and VI monomer is neutral. The one purpose of this study is to combine both monomers in one polymer. In this respect, a series of hydrogels was synthesized by changing the content of AAm and VI.         In this work, the synthesis, spectral characterization, DFT calculations, and catalytic activity of thenew Pt(II) complexes with the ligand derived from benzimidazole derivatives have been described.The new heterocyclic ligands were obtained from the reaction of o-amino-ketones with hydrazinehydrate in high yieldandPt(II) complexes prepared from the coordination of the new ligands toPt(II) cation. The new compounds have been characterized by spectral and microanalytical data.The DFT calculations at the B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p) level were also applied to gain further insightinto the geometry of Pt(II) complexes. The catalytic activity of Pt(II) complexes in Biginellireactionwas also examined as heterogeneous catalysts. The results showed that the 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones have been synthesized, in excellent yields, under solvent-free conditions, by reaction oftert-butyl acetoacetate, alcohol, arylaldehydes, and urea in the presence of Pt(II) complexes as anefficient and heterogeneous and catalyst. پرونده مقاله

Thus, a novel series of the derivatives of benzimidazole were synthesized and the structures of all the synthesized compounds have been confirmed by IR, 1 H- and 13C-NMR, Mass Spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The title compounds have been evaluated for antifungal activities against Candida albicans, Candida glabrata, and Candida krusei.         مقاومت بیماری سل به دارو همچنان یکی از مهمترین چالش های پیش رو در درمان این بیماری عفونی است و بنابراین کشف و توسعه داروهای جدید موثر ضد سل همواره مورد توجه محققان است. در این مطالعه، تحلیل ارتباط کمی ساختار-فعالیت (QSAR) بر روی یک سری از مشتقات ایمیدازول[1 و2- a] پیریدین کربوکسامید به عنوان عوامل ضد سل اعمال شد. فعالیت بیولوژیکی 18 ترکیب با روش های رگرسیون خطی چندگانه و شبکه عصبی مصنوعی برآورد شد. چهار توصیف کننده مولکولی (nCl، MATS8m، BELe4 وGATS8e) با استفاده از رگرسیون خطی چندگانه گام به گام انتخاب شدند. بهترین نتایج شبکه عصبی مصنوعی با الگوی 5-5-1 آموزش داده شده با الگوریتم پس انتشار رو به جلو به دست آمد. یک مجموعه آزمون حاوی 5 ترکیب برای ارزیابی توانایی پیش‌بینی مدل استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که رویکرد شبکه عصبی مصنوعی در مقایسه با رگرسیون خطی چندگانه قدرت پیش بینی بهتری را ارائه می دهد. بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه، الکترونگاتیوی، جرم اتمی و هندسه مولکولی عوامل مهم کنترل کننده فعالیت ضد سل هستند. پرونده مقاله

        در این پژوهش، کاتالیزگری ارزان قیمت، دوست دار محیط زیست و قابل استفاده مجدد با روش مناسب سنتز شده است. برای این منظور، ابتدا ذرات کیتوسان از طریق فرایند استیل زدایی از ضایعات پوسته میگوی خلیج فارس تهیه شده و در ادامه کمپلکسی مبتنی بر مس بر روی بستری از ذرات کیتوسان با م چکیده کامل
        در این پژوهش، کاتالیزگری ارزان قیمت، دوست دار محیط زیست و قابل استفاده مجدد با روش مناسب سنتز شده است. برای این منظور، ابتدا ذرات کیتوسان از طریق فرایند استیل زدایی از ضایعات پوسته میگوی خلیج فارس تهیه شده و در ادامه کمپلکسی مبتنی بر مس بر روی بستری از ذرات کیتوسان با موفقیت بدست آمد. ساختار کمپلکس کیتوسان-مس(II)، با استفاده از روش های گوناگون از قبیل طیف سنجی مادون قرمز تبدیل فوریه، پراش پرتو ایکس، میکروسکوپ الکترونی روبشی، طیف سنجی پراش انرژی پرتو ایکس و طیف سنجی مرئی- فرابنفش تایید شد. با توجه به کاربرد وسیع بنزیمیدازول ها در صنعت و داروسازی، خواص کاتالیزگری کمپلکس کیتوسان-مس (II)سنتز شده، در واکنش دو جزئی سنتز مشتق های مختلف بنزیمیدازول تحت شرایط بدون حلال مطالعه شد. استفاده از کاتالیزگر کمپلکس کیتوسان-مس(II)، در سنتز مشتقات بنزیمدازول چندین مزیت از جمله بازده قابل توجه، شرایط واکنش ملایم، زمان سنتز کوتاه، جداسازی آسان کاتالیزگر و اجتناب از تولید زباله های سمی را نشان داد. علاوه بر این، کمپلکس کیتوسان-مس(II) به راحتی توسط صاف کردن بازیابی شد و می‌توان آن را برای پنج چرخه بدون از دست دادن فعالیت کاتالیزگری مورد استفاده ی مجدد قرار داد. پرونده مقاله

Palladium-catalyzed cyclisation of different enynethiols has afforded a series of substituted thiophenes. The substrates, (Z)-2-en-4-yne-1- thiols, undergo cyclo isomerisation in dimethyl acetamide in the presence of catalytic amounts of PdI2 along with KI, to yield corresponding thiophenes 4 . Chiral imidazoles have been synthesized by thio-Ugi reaction .         Imidazole is a planar, five membered heteroaromatic molecule with pyrrole type and pyridine type annular nitrogens. Several approaches are available of imidazoles from alpha halo ketones, aminonitrile, aldehyde ect. Reactivity of imidazole and benzimidazole is referred from sets of resonance structure in which the dipolar contributors have finite importance. Imidazoles among the principal groups of heterocyclic compounds that have biological properties. Due to the presence of imidazole rings in natural products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, different ways for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds of this type investigated. The aim of this project is substituted derivatives 2,4,5-Imidazoles. In this study, three-substituted imidazole compounds synthesized using ammonium chloride as a catalyst cost in terms of reflux were studied. Reaction with aldehydes and ammonium acetate Acenaphthene quinone in crowding conditions in the presence of ammonium chloride was performed successfully and imidazole derivatives were prepared with good yields. Diazotization of the latter compounds acheived a mixture of 5H-tetrazolo[1',5':1,2]pyrimido[4,5-e][1,3,4]thiadiazine and 9H-tetrazolo[5',1':2,3]pyrimido[4,5-e][1,3,4]thiadiazines. Ratio of these two group of products determined by 1HNMR studies and no significant preference was observed for their formation. In all reactions, reactions were investigated under Microwave conditions. The structure of all compounds was studied by an IR Spectrums and 1HNMR Spectrums. Excellent yields, short reaction times, simplicity of operation and easy separation are several advantages of this technique.         A convenient synthetic method for the synthesis of 2,4,5-trisubstituted and 1,2,4,5-tetra substituted imidazole derivatives, has been developed via one-pot condensation reaction in solvent-free condition when aldehyde, ammonium acetate/amine, and 1,2-diketone are reacted using 0.8 mol% of NP-LaMnO3 at 80 °C under solvent free conditions. Catalyst could be recovered and reused in five reaction cycles without any loss of its activities, giving a total turnover number (TON) = 594 and turn over frequency (TOF) = 71 h−1. A plausible mechanism has also been expressed. The catalyst has been recovered and its reusability confirmed in 4 runs.         Ni2+ supported on hydroxyapatite-core@shell γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles (γ-Fe2O3@HAp-Ni2+) was found to be a useful catalyst for the synthesis of benzimidazole derivatives from o-phenylenediamine and aldehydes under solvent and solvent-free conditions at 80 °C. This reaction affords the corresponding benzimidazole derivatives compared with the classical reactions this method consistently gives a high yield, easy magnetic separation, a short reaction time, simple workup and recyclable property of the catalyst. In this way, the catalyst was readily recovered using an external magnet and could be reused in five consecutive runs without significant loss of reactivity.         A green and efficient trifluoroacetate-bonded polyethylene graphene oxide composite was utilized in this research to prepare benzimidazoles with good to excellent yield under a solvent-free condition. The trifluoroacetate-bonded polyethylene graphene oxide composite was constructed by polyethylene/diethylenetriamine-functionalized graphene oxide composite bonded by 2-aminothiazole and CF3COOHmoieties. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were also employed to characterize the composite. Benzimidazoles were synthesized by reacting 1,2-phenylenediamine with aromatic aldehydes in the presence of composite (0.02 g) under solvent-free conditions at 75°C. The composite was recovered and used in five runs without considerable loss of activity. Compared to the other catalysts employed for the synthesis of benzimidazole, the present composite (catalyst) benefits from a series of advantages such as cost-effectiveness, easy storage and handling, recoverability and durability, environmental friendliness, non-metallic nature, and ease of disposal. The advantages of this catalyst are including simple work-up, low cost and reusability. Compared with conventional methods, the main advantages of the present procedure are its being a green method, its milder conditions, necessary shorter reaction time, and its higher yields and its selectivity. The purity of 5-chloro-1-ethyl-2-methylimidazole-4-sulfonyl-8-quinolinoxide was tested by thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), Carbon-13 (C13) nuclear magnetic resonance (13C-NMR), and DEPT 135 to confirm the presence and nature of CH2. The solvent-free reaction of compound 1 was better in relation to green chemistry and better yield. The presence of solvent responsible for a color change that differentiates between compound 1 and 2 as they have the same physical data, functional group, and the chemical shift studied. The newly synthesized compound was evaluated and screened in vitro against Gram-positive (methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and Bacillus subtilis), Gram-negative (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae) bacterial strains, and Candida albicans using the standard microbiological method. 5-Chloro-1-ethyl-2-methylimidazole-4-sulfonyl-8-quinolinoxide exhibited weak activities when compared with the standard drug ciprofloxacin and itraconazole used for many bacterial and fungal infections respectively. پرونده مقاله

        The organic compound imidazole has the chemical formula C3N2H4. Numerous significant biological compounds contain imidazole. The amino acid histidine is the most prevalent. The substituted imidazole derivatives have great potential for treating a variety of systemic fungi infections. Thiourea is an organosulfur compound with the formula SC(NH2)2. It is a reagent in organic synthesis. In this paper, some new imidazole and thiourea derivatives are synthesized, characterized, and studied for their biological activity. These new compounds were synthesized from the starting material terephthalic acid, which was transformed to corresponding ester [I] by the refluxing of diacid with methanol in the presence of H2SO4 as a catalyst, compound [I] condensation with hydrazine hydrate 80% to yielded acid hydrazide [II], which was refluxed with 2 moles of various aromatic aldehydes in the presence of few drops of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst to yielded Schiff bases . Refluxing of chosen derivative with acetyl chloride in dry benzene gave new acetyl compounds which were reacted with thiourea and anhydrous sodium carbonate with acetone as a solvent to give new thiourea derivatives . Compounds were used to synthesize new imidazole derivatives by the reaction of appropriate compound with 2 moles of benzoin in dry DMF under cyclization reaction.         The study's chief purpose is to investigate multicomponent reactions synthesis of triaryl-1h imidazoles using reductive-oxidative reactions by MnO2 - FeSO4 as a catalyst.Some novel substituted imidazoles have been synthesized using MCRs, one-pot synthesis, and MnO2/FeSO4 as a catalyst; the method involves the reaction of benzil, aromatic aldehyde, and ammonium acetate in the presence of MnO2/FeSO4 as a reductive-oxidative catalyst under mild conditions. the obtained compounds were nontoxic, excellent yields, and environmentally friendly. The compounds were elucidated using IR and 1H-NMR spectra. To satisfy the aim of the study, Reactions have been performed simply by mixing 1,2-diketone with an aldehyde and ammonium acetate in the presence of the catalytic reagent of MnO2/FeSO4. The mixture was prepared by ground them together in a mortar with a pestle at room temperature for several minutes; after that, they purified by column chromatography, 2,4,5-triaryl substituted imidazole derivatives were obtained in excellent yields. پرونده مقاله
