1 - Comparative Generic Analysis of Introductions of English and Persian Dentistry Research Articles

To this end, 70 introduction sections written in English and Persian and published in wellknown leading journals were examined and analyzed using Swales’ (2004) classification of moves and steps in introduction sections. Frequency and Chi-square test were used to examine the differences between the two corpora of introduction sections. The analysis of the introduction sections shows that Move 1 step 1 “claiming centrality”, Move 2 step 1a “counter-claiming” and Move 3.1 “Announcing present research descriptively and/or purposively” are the most frequently used moves in English and Persian corpora. Moreover, the findings show that the majority of research articles across the two corpora opened with Move 1.1 “Claiming centrality”. Also, results revealed that there was a statistically significant difference in certain moves between English and Persian introduction sections. پرونده مقاله -

2 - A pyogenic granuloma on buccal mucosa related to an embedded tooth root

Clinical, radiographical and pathological evaluations showed that one of the roots of the first maxillary molar was in the lesion. In a review of the literature, there was no similar case report. Diagnostic assessment and clinical management of the lesion were discussed. The review of the literatures there was not even a single similar case report. Results:According to this study,the use of cyberspace in the field of dentistry in Isfahan was high,and the mean use was significantly higher in women,young age group and people with a bachelor's degree and master and Phd than other groups.The most common objective of using cyberspace related to dentistry was to obtain dental information and then select a dentist,which had a significant relationship with age,gender and level of education.In the content of a virtual page, the most important items for users were positive comments online or comments of other people, which had no significant relationship with gender and level of education,but in the young age group it was significantly more important. Conclusion:The attitude of the people of Isfahan regarding the use of cyberspace and social media in the field of dentistry was positive.Age,gender and level of education of people can affect the use of cyberspace for health training, and selecting the type and place of treatment. پرونده مقاله -

This study aimed to determine general dentists' awareness and attitude regarding remote dentistry in Isfahan City.Materials and methods: A total of 96 general dentists from Isfahan City were selected in this descriptive and analytical study. Each dentist was given a questionnaire to check the level of knowledge and attitude regarding teledentistry. The questionnaire consisted of 3 sections of general professional information, questions related to awareness, and questions related to attitude. Pearson and Mann-Whitney statistical tests analyzed data.Results: A total of 96 dentists, including 56 women (58.3 percent) and 40 men (41.7 percent) with an average age of 28.20±2.38 years and an average working experience in dentistry of 3.30±2.10 years, participated in the study. Concerning the knowledge about teledentistry, 62 people (64.6%) had no knowledge, and 34 people (35.4%) had knowledge. The level of knowledge of general dentists regarding teledentistry was moderate and was not related to age, gender, and work experience ((p>0.05). Also, the level of attitude of general dentists regarding teledentistry was moderate and was not related to age, gender, and work experience (p>0.05).Conclusion: This study's results showed that the knowledge and attitude of many general dentists is average. Therefore, more training is needed to create awareness among dentists regarding remote dentistry. پرونده مقاله -

5 - A brief review on titanium alloy for dental, biotechnology and biomedical applications

Titanium has two forms of allotropy called rutile and anatase, due to white color, slow-melting point in uniform distribution and diffusion in other compounds. It is known for making paper, plastics, rubber and various other materials. Therefore, regarding its use and high application in this paper we reviewed the conventional and advance application of Ti sheet. The presence of small amounts of impurities such as nitrogen, carbon and hydrogen in which are soluble in the metal, causes the mineral fragility of the metal and prevents its commercial exploitation. The purpose of this study is to introduce and application of titanium in various industries. The main use of titanium in the industry is in the form of metal and titanium dioxide nanoparticles, the use of metal is not used much due to problems in its preparation and purification, but instead, the use of oxide in the form of TiO2 is widely used in industry. Therefore, 90% of the primary industries are consuming titanium oxide. The human body easily accepts titanium because it has been proven to be more biocompatible than stainless steel or cobalt chromium (CoCr). In addition, titanium has a higher fatigue strength than many other metals which helps to transform it as a desired material in orthopedic and dentistry applications. پرونده مقاله
