In this paper, a multi-product continues review inventory control problem within batch arrival queuing approach (MQr/M/1) is modeled to find the optimal quantities of maximum inventory. The objective function is to minimize summation of ordering, holding and shortage costs under warehouse space, service level, and expected lost-sales shortage cost constraints from retailer and warehouse viewpoints. Since the proposed model is Np-Hard, an efficient imperialist competitive algorithm (ICA) is proposed to solve the model. To justify proposed ICA, a simulated annealing algorithm has been utilized. In order to determine the best value of algorithms parameters that result in a better solution, a fine-tuning procedure is executed. Finally, the performance of the proposed ICA is analyzed using some numerical illustrations. پرونده مقاله

With daily development of information technology supply chain of service-based organizations like financial institutions and the increased value of outsourced activities, also the importance of customer satisfaction, outsourced affairs must have done by the suppliers who have the ability of accomplishing the organizational demands. To mitigate the risk of invalid supplier selections, verification and selection of the suppliers should be performed with an optimized and systematic solution. In order to help the selection of suppliers in the IT department of financial organizations, a different model by using a hybrid QFD-TOPSIS solution in MCDM methods is suggested, in this study. First goal of the provided model is finding the most related criteria and the second one is offering an optimized solution to the supplier selection problem. To begin the QFD part in the mentioned method, two categories of criteria are needed. Then, after the formation of the House of Quality, in a real case study that was performed in a private bank in Iran, the suppliers are ranked by using the proposed method. The greatest efficiencies of this method are not only finding the best supplier by measuring the nearest distance to the ideal and the farthest one to the negative-ideal solution but also closing the opinions of employers to the technical requirements (sub-criteria) of information technology supplier qualifications. Finally, a model reliability part is designed to indicate the validation of the proposed method and a sensitivity analysis is implemented to find the most sensitive sub-criteria. That is the results of ranking alter if sensitive sub-criteria change . پرونده مقاله

In this paper a model is proposed for distribution centers location and joint replenishment of a distribution system that is responsible for orders and product delivery to distribution centers. This distribution centers are under limitedwarehouse space and this can determine amount of requirement product by considering proposed discount. The proposed model is develop to minimize total costs consists of location, ordering, purchaseunder All-units quantity discount condition and items maintenance by adjustment Frequency of replenishment in each distribution center. To solve this model, first we solve the model with genetic algorithm by confining the time between too replenishments then by use of the Quantity Discount RAND algorithm method the upper and lower limits of the time between two replenishments will be determined. After obtaining the optimal upper and lower limits, the model will be resolved by harmony search and genetic algorithms. The results show that the presented chromosome structure is so efficient so that the statistical experiments result indicates there isn’t much difference between solution means after finding the optimal upper and lower limits. We used response surface methodology for tune proposed algorithms parameters. Efficiency of proposed algorithms is examined by diverse examples in different dimensions. Results of these experiments are compared by using of ANOVA and TOPSIS with indexes of objective function value and algorithms runtime. In both comparisons harmony search algorithm has more efficiency than genetic algorithm. پرونده مقاله

In this article, a finite horizon, multi product and multi period economic order quantity like seasonal items is considered where demand rate is deterministic and known but variable in each period. The order quantities of items come in batch sizes and the end of the period order quantity and, consequently, demand of customers are zero. In addition, storage space is constrained and the problem was considered under all units discount (AUD) policy. The modeling technique used for this problem is mixed binary integer programming. The objective was to find the minimization optimal order quantities under time value of money over the finite horizon. The inventory control system costs include three costs: ordering cost, holding cost, and purchase cost. In order to solve the proposed model, a genetic algorithm (GA) is applied. Finally, we provide a number of examples in order to illustrate the algorithms further. پرونده مقاله

Vendor managed inventory is a continuous replenishment program that is designed to provide major cost saving benefits for both vendors and retailers. Previous research on this area mainly included single objective optimization models where the objective is to minimize the total supply chain costs or to maximize the total supply chain benefits. This paper presents a bi-objective mathematical model for single-manufacture multi-retailer with multi-product in order to maximize their benefits. It is assumed that demand is a decreasing and convex function of the retail price. In this paper, common replenishment cycle is considered for the manufacturer and its retailers. Then, the proposed model converts to the single-objective optimization problem using a weighted sum method. A genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to solve it and response surface methodology is employed to tune the GA parameters. Finally, several numerical examples are investigated to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model and solution approach. پرونده مقاله

Cellular manufacturing system (CMS) is highly important in modern manufacturing methods. Given the ever increasing market competition in terms of time and cost of manufacturing, we need models to decrease the cost and time of manufacturing. In this study, CMS is considered in condition of dynamic demand in each period. The model is developed for facing dynamic demand that increases the cost of material flow. This model generates the cells and location facilities at the same time and it can move the machine(s) from one cell to another cell and can generate the new cells for each period. Cell formation is NP-Complete and when this problem is considered in dynamic condition, surly, it is strongly NP- Complete. In this study, genetic algorithm (GA) is used as a meta-heuristic algorithm for solving problems and evaluating the proposed algorithm, Branch and Bound (B & B) is used as a deterministic method for solving problems. Ultimately, the time and final solution of both algorithms are compared. پرونده مقاله

This paper proposes a bi-objective model for the facility location problem under a congestion system. The idea of the model is motivated by applications of locating servers in bank automated teller machines (ATMS), communication networks, and so on. This model can be specifically considered for situations in which fixed service facilities are congested by stochastic demand within queueing framework. We formulate this model with two perspectives simultaneously: (i) customers and (ii) service provider. The objectives of the model are to minimize (i) the total expected travelling and waiting time and (ii) the average facility idle-time. This model represents a mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem which belongs to the class of NP-hard problems. In addition, to solve the model, two metaheuristic algorithms including non-dominated sorting genetic algorithms (NSGA-II) and non-dominated ranking genetic algorithms (NRGA) are proposed. Besides, to evaluate the performance of the two algorithms some numerical examples are roduced and analyzed with some metrics to determine which algorithm works better. پرونده مقاله
