Space quality in an urban area is resulted from the components which through recognizing the effects of each, solutions to improve the overall quality of urban context can be provided widely. This is even more significant in the case of informal urban fabrics where many urban spaces and individual settlements that are facing lack of environmental qualities causes the death of life in the context overtime. It means paying attention to environmental qualities in informal spaces will be one of the most vital factors in identifying areas of physical intervention to improve the quality of life. Since now, little attention has been paid to identifying effective quality indicators and areas of intervention in informal fabrics in Iran. For this reason, the current study tries to take the first steps and move forward by studying the outlines of issues related to environmental qualities and explaining how they affect the indicators of intervention in informal spaces. It will be assumed that the sustainable place model of Canter which is introduced as three main categories of functional, experimental-aesthetic and environmental indicators can be used as an effective model in defining qualitative indicators and areas of physical intervention in informal fabrics. Thus, in order to identify and prioritize areas of intervention in these urban spaces as the aim of this study, each of the index of sustainable model presents a group of sub indicators through Literature, Fuzzy Delphi Method and questionnaire survey that is conducted in peripheral informal settlements of Mashhad Metropolitan in terms of effective environmental quality components. Through weighing the criteria and sub criteria by AHP Technique, areas of physical urban intervention are recognized so that appropriate types of intervention could be suggested according to the kind of problematic urban spaces. پرونده مقاله

Development informal residential spaces in cities and especially metropolitan areas, provides a concept of quality of urban life which needs to be upgraded and reconsidered. In this regard, Present study focuses on informal communities and identify the quality components related to the built environment in terms of objective qualities and subjective qualities in relation to residents' satisfaction with the settlement in the form of physical–spatial characteristics with their irreplaceable roles in determining the residents' lifestyle. In this research, to achieve the goal, both qualitative research method and survey strategy are applied. Data collection is done through literature review, and also field impression of space users along with survey analytical method of Fuzzy Delphi and Entropy Shannon Technique. In the part of documentary study, 33 quality components are achieved and evaluated from the perspective of "improving the quality of informal settlements" via Delphi Method. Through initial screening, 9 components and in the following according to experts' consensus 3 more components are removed from the list. As a result, the study attains 21 qualitative components which are categorized into 2 main dimensions of objective and subjective qualities and 7 thematic categories in following. Finally, findings from analyzing the indicators using Shannon Technique show that the dimension of "Residential Satisfaction" and the category of " safety and security" are having the most impact on enhancing the quality of informal settlements. As well, among single indicators, "crime prevention", "accessibility and permeability" and "facilities and infrastructure" are the highest influencers in the list. پرونده مقاله

اسکان غیررسمی، نتیجه تمایل جمعیتهای انسانی به زندگی در محیطهای شهریست. شکلگیری پدیده اسکان غیررسمی در شهرها، اهمیت مفهوم کیفیت زندگی شهری را بیش از پیش یادآوری میکند. هدف این پژوهش، تعریف و اولویت‌بندی مولفه‌های کیفی این سکونتگاهها و بررسی ویژگیهای کالبدی–فضایی و نقش آنها در شکل‌دهی به زندگی ساکنین میباشد. در این پژوهش با تمرکز بر محور اصلی، از روش تحقیق کیفی، راهبرد پیمایشی و تحلیل سلسله‌مراتبی دلفی فازی بمنظور ارزیابی نظر متخصصان و نیز از تکنیک انتروپی شانون در جهت وزن‌‌دهی و اولویت‌بندی نهایی شاخصهای کیفیت بدست آمده از پرسشنامه دلفی استفاده شده‌ است. نظرسنجی بر روی ساکنان 4 پهنه اسکان غیررسمی در مشهد انجام شده و نتایج حاصله از این مطالعه بیانگر مشکلات و نیازهای مشترک در میان ساکنان این سکونتگاههای غیررسمی و نارضایتی آنها از فضای سکونتشان است. براساس نظرسنجی در این 4 سکونتگاه و با انجام دو مرحله پرسشنامه دلفی ، معیارهای محیطی موثر بر کیقیت زندگی ساکنان بدست آمده و با استفاده از روش شانون این معیارها در 7 دسته موضوعی دسته بندی شدند. وزن بدست آمده برای هر یک از این دسته ها نشان دهنده اهمیت موضوعات با محور امنیت، مردم و فعالیت پذیری میباشد که زیر مجموعه بحث عملکردی در مدل مکان پایدار هستند. در نهایت نیز مدل شاخصهای کیفیت محیطی موثر در سکونتگاهای غیررسمی که در آن وزن هر دسته شاخص و ترتیب اهمیت شاخصها نمایانگر است تدوین و ارائه شده که بیانگر حوزه های اولویت مداخله کیفی در این بخشها میباشد. پرونده مقاله
